This is the same ram on both Tbird 700's &
the ABit has the better O/Cing CPU.
I have not tested the ram with software thou.

ABit KT7 133MHz CAS 3 @ 850 MHz
Multiplier of 8

ASUS A7V 100MHz CAS 2 @ 900 MHz only CPU O/Ced
for now & RC5 crunching, no win 98 or game testing yet.

I just put the ASUS together yesterday & what
a different CMOS setup it has & very cool, what is the best ram seting for now ? I have 2-2-2.
There is more ram settings that I will play with later. This is what happens when you hate to order stuff on the internet & you must have it now &
you do not want to pay much.

The new socket A crome ORB's are different again
the base is larger & square, the circle where the
base of the older socket A orb's ended is now recessed in abit. Also the clip is more level now.

Well time to move the KT7 to a different case
after I remove & use the FIC AZ-11 to RC5 crunching duties only. Another long storie

Bob
