I was alluding to certain discrepancies in the performance of systems that I tested myself and what has been posted elsewhere. Hey, all I need to make any system look really bad is to disable the L2 in the BIOS. In that case, any DDR board will look even worse than a SDRAM board (LOL).
Seriously, if you take any board at stock settings, you will have to cope with all the safety settings for optimal stability on one mfr and with the next brand, it may be tweaked for performance already. What I am getting at is that this is no basis for any cross platform comparison. The only way to do this in a generally valid form is to either run all systems at low performance settings or really spend the extra 10 min and tweak the BIOS. If I look at the review across the street and read that there are no DDR DIMMs that will do 133 MHz at CAS-2 (while those are the same engineering samples as the ones I have) and I am running the same stuff at 146 MHz CAS-2, something is wrong. Otherwise, yep, I like talking to myself, not as much as Richter, though (ROTFLMAO)
