This system was built from scratch using parts ordered from various suppliers as the prices dropped to acceptable levels. Processor is Athlon Slot A 750MHz Motherboard is an ABIT KA7-100 Heat sink is GlobalWin FLK32 with single fan I have an 80mm fan pulling in fresh air from the front and a 60mm pulling air out the back. In addition I have a three fan hard drive cooler which is just moving some additional cool air into the area of the processor. This unit has a slide-off removable filter. I have rounded the 40 wire IDE cables to improve the airflow but I am reluctant to work on the 80 wire cable for fear of destroying it. The LS-120 floppy is on the primary UDMA-66 IDE controller and the two CD devices are on the secondary UDMA-66 IDE controller. The Maxtor ATA-100 drive is on the primary UDMA-100 controller. I am currently running at 900mhz because I really don't need the extra performance that 939MHz provides, the system runs with a cpu temperature of 87 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit and a system temperature of 75 to 80. The rest of the system is as follows: Premier Mid-Tower ATX case 3 + 3 bays LS-120 super disk floppy 48X CD Reader 4X Mitsumi CD Burner 32MB Guillemot Maxi-Gamer Cougar 4X AGP SoundBlaster Live Value 128MB of PC-133 Dimm memory 20.4 GB Maxtor ATA-100 hard drive 17" Viewsonic Monitor Diamond SupraExpress 56i Modem Cable Modem with 10MB/Sec ethernet card No pictures as yet. A digital camera is in the works as my next toy.
